Playing Morrowind in the Skyrim engine — and I’m not talking about Skywind

Hi, I’d like to play Morrowind, as well as mods like Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel, using the Skyrim engine because I think it’s much better when it comes to physics, combat, exploration, stealth, and many other more modern gameplay features.
Basically, what I’m talking about would be converting Morrowind’s map and all of its content — NPCs, quests, etc. — to the Skyrim engine.
I don’t care about the game having low-poly graphics. I just want to experience Morrowind’s story and content using Skyrim’s engine. Has anyone ever thought about doing something like this, or would anyone be interested in making it? I find Morrowind’s original engine really bad to play with nowadays.
I’m not talking about Skywind, because it won’t let you play Tamriel Rebuilt, and it’s a full remake/reimagining of Morrowind. What I’m looking for is simply a port, keeping the original game and its content largely intact but running it in Skyrim’s engine.
