Welcome to r/PalmBeachPlayer 🌴

Palm Beach is a strange little ecosystem.

It’s old money, new money, no money pretending to be old money, Bentleys at Publix, $30 cocktails, billionaires wearing $18 polo shirts, and people quietly keeping score while pretending they couldn’t care less.

That’s what this subreddit is about.

r/PalmBeachPlayer is a place to talk about Palm Beach culture from the inside out: money, real estate, restaurants, relationships, status, business, local absurdities, social rituals, and the unwritten rules nobody puts in the Chamber of Commerce brochure.

We’ll talk about why we count Bentleys on Worth Avenue. Why inflation looks different when the margarita is already $28. Why some people desperately want to look rich while the genuinely rich often work hard not to. And why Palm Beach may be one of the best laboratories in America for studying money, ambition, human behavior and occasionally spectacular bad judgment.

Some posts will be serious. Some will be satire. Most will contain a little of both.

A few house rules:

Be funny. Be interesting. Disagree all you want. Don’t be a jackass.

No doxxing. No stalking private individuals. No posting somebody’s personal business just because you spotted them at The Breakers.

And most importantly, don’t take any of this too seriously.

Palm Beach certainly doesn’t.

Welcome to the island.
