International Visitors - Newborn [ab]

Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on having international visitors meet your newborn. My husband’s family lives in Spain and his parents want to visit after baby arrives, but they’d have two layovers in major international airports.

We’re due in January during cold/flu season. Would you be comfortable with them visiting right away, or would you wait until baby’s 2-month vaccines? Am I being overly cautious for considering waiting?
