Stalker Call of Pripyat vanilla friendly mods

Hi everyone,

I’ve completed Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky, and since Call of Pripyat is widely considered the best of the original trilogy, I want to make sure I get the best experience for my first playthrough.

I'm looking for:

- Quality-of-life improvements

- Performance and bug fixes

- Visual enhancements that stay faithful to the vanilla atmosphere

After some research, I've narrowed my choices down to:

- CIP (Call of Pripyat Improvement Project)

- ABR

- Absolute HD textures / AtmosFear

- PRP (Pripyat Reclamation Project) + Absolute textures

I’m currently leaning toward CIP, but there isn't much gameplay footage or community discussion available, so it's hard to tell how noticeable the changes actually are compared to vanilla.

Which of these would you recommend for a friendly first run? Or if its different please let me know!

Any insights on CIP vs. the other options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
