Hi folks,

I'm really sorry, but it's me again (lol) with my new prog.

I now know the reason for the dead spots on my guitar being frequency related - not a Strandberg issue. But I've noticed that the tremolo will just absolutely not stay in tune at all, even without use - proper bends can bring it out of tune sometimes. I have to give it a few slight taps and all strings will then get in tune again.

Everything is setup perfectly, you can't get it more in line with the body, etc.

When I had the guitar lying next to me on the couch, I suddenly realized something which looked like a scratch on the side of the tremolo. When looking closer, I suddenly realized that the tremolo is basically scratching on the wood and not able to move freely. On the left hand side, there's plenty of space - on the right side, I can't even get a 0.15mm feeler gauge between the trem and the wood.

You can see it in the pics - first one showing top view with the right hand side close to the wood, second one right side, third one left side with a few mm of space.

Is this a normal trem position or might this be the issue for my tuning problems?

I'm really sorry I'm opening another thread, but Support hasn't gotten back to me in almost a week and I'm not exactly sure this would get some attention in my older thread.

Cheers!

Boden Prog NX - proper tremolo position?
