Civil Service internal transfer

I’ve recently accepted a role in another government department through an internal transfer.

The Employee Transfer Service is now complete, and the new department has set me up on payroll. I’ve also received an appointment letter which they asked me to sign and return to confirm acceptance.

However, my original Civil Service Jobs application still says “Application Update – We’re finalising all documentation regarding your application.”- it’s been like that since 6days now and my start date is in two weeks

Is this normal? Does the Civil Service Jobs status usually update later, even after the transfer has been completed?
