What would you call this? Misogyny? Racism? Misogynoir?

Throw away account bc i dont want this mess on my main. Idk if this is the right sub, so pls lemme know.

Ok so I am (F, 20) Black and so are my parents (both 50s). Im at home watching HGTV with my mom & dad. We're watching House Hunters. In this ep a young Black women, let's call her "Rachel," is looking for her first home. Rachel's mom is the only person (outside of the realtor) who's helping her with the search. The realtor is also a Black woman.

We've watched 2 other eps together but when this ep begins my dad immediately groans and makes a comment that an ep with all women "no one will know what theyre talking about."

Rachel's mom made it known from the jump shes a little hesitant bout Rachel living in a new home bc she doesnt trust the handiwork (she trusts the stability of older homes more). My dad is like "see! I told you, dont know what theyre talking bout."

I say, "well newer buildings ARE made differently" bc i remember my sister complaining about that when she moved to nyc. My mom just shhhs my dad.

Ok so Rachel's mom says this again when they visit another home. My dad goes, "She doesnt know what shes talking about! Black ppl are their own enemy."

I try to push back, but my mom AGREES. And then my dad doubles down and finally says "My parents didnt want me to go to Harvard!"

Im like, "what's that gotta do with anything?" He doesnt answer and goes silent the rest of the ep.

My dad DID go to Harvard. Anyway, how would you label his comments? Is it racism? Misogynoir?? I want to confront him on his statements bc he CLAIMS to want to be a feminist (๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ). So any advice on how to talk to him would be helpful please & thank u!
