Why does Boston never win the best city debate?
Non-American here; it was my first time in Boston this week for work, and I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful the blend of historic and modern architecture is, the cleanliness, the cool people, the safety, the food, and the culture. It's really everything, tbh, and don't get me started on the high gothic and colonial charm of nearby Harvard's Cambridge.
Even the skyline is so beautiful at night. Maybe it's just the style of the street lamps and buildings, but the city at night looks like how "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper feels- absolutely unreal. For further context, I'm staying in the FiDi area.
