My prediction for the future of UF football is bleak.

Sumrall could be an excellent coach and turned this team into a competitive one but I do not think the university of Florida will ever put in the resources needed to compete for nattys with teams like UGA, OSU, or Miami. John‘s first portal class did not yield very high caliber results and his current bump class is on par with Napier and Mullen. The university of Florida will not spend the type of money it takes to compete in this new era of college football and as long as that is the case, we will be a middle of the road team possibly making the playoffs every once in a while.
