Need advice- possible mucus plug loss?? 18w

I already spoke to a nurse practitioner about this yesterday but wanted more input to calm me down lol. Also my mother in law was in the car when I was talking to the NP so I was very conservative with what I said haha. I’m 18w+4 days FTM

Basically my husband and I had intercourse Sunday afternoon (first time in like a month).
Yesterday when I used the bathroom a huge long string of discharge (white-ish color) came out and when I googled it looks like it was the mucus plug possibly?

I called the Dr. office and they didn’t seem concerned but again I didn’t go into detail about it/didn’t mention that it looked like mucus plug- just that I had extra discharge. Should I be worried/call back? I read horror stories that this indicated a problem with some peoples cervix so I’m spiraling lol I don’t see doctor for over a week. TIA
