Just moved to Coral Springs

I just moved to Coral Springs (right outside Ft Laud) about two months ago due to my husband’s job. I have been job hunting with no luck or potential. We don’t know anyone or have any local friends, just my in-laws who live in Deerfield Beach. Any tips on how get involved as someone new to the area and bad at socializing? I am feeling very out of touch and just want to try and make this place feel more at home.
