Things to do?

It’s just me and my 6 month old for the next 17 days. We are in El Paso TX and it’s hot as hell during the day. Looking for some day to day recommendations to do with him outside the normal. Places to go, things to do, whatever it may be. We go walk around shopping centers a lot, and have the normal baby activities during his wake windows. I’m just bored, and I also need him to get energy out so it helps with his sleep. Unfortunately we can’t just go walk outside unless we are up at 5 am. It’s hot here by 7 usually. It’s also the dessert. So there’s not a ton to do outside. Tips please!
