Help! My normally chill baby goes ballistic in the car 😩

TLDR: My baby hates the car and cries incessantly every time we put her in her car seat. Any ideas why/what I can do to help her?

I have a very chill 10 week baby. She hardly cries and when she does, she stops as soon as we crack the thing that’s bothering her. Dirty diaper? Lay her on the changing table and she stops crying before we even change her because she knows she’s good now.

HOWEVER, based on the sounds she makes when we’re driving, you’d think I was tearing her limbs off. It’s the only thing that drives her to this level of absolute hysteria, and I can’t for the life of me figure out WHY! Even on short 5 minute drives she will scream her head off the entire way to the point she is gagging.

The only clue I have is she does get a lot of spit bubbles in the car. Not sure if it’s reflux or gas maybe? Or potentially something else, I have no idea.

Anyone been through this that has advice? I will do anything to be able to drive more than a few minutes from our house.
