Looking for some genuine connections

I’m hoping to meet some genuinely kind, easygoing people and hopefully build a friendship that actually lasts. I’m not really looking for those conversations that are great for a day or two and then suddenly disappear. I’d love to meet people who are actually interested in getting to know each other over time.

I’m 32, pretty laid back, and I enjoy all kinds of conversations. I can talk about something completely random and ridiculous one minute and have a deeper conversation the next. I’d especially like to meet some women who are also looking for genuine friendships.

Because of my disability, making friends naturally in everyday life hasn’t always been easy for me, so I figured I’d give Reddit another shot. It would be nice to have someone I can talk to regularly, check in with, share random thoughts with, laugh about stupid things with, and eventually just feel comfortable calling a real friend.

I’m also a big fan of Discord, so if we end up clicking, I’d definitely be happy to move the conversation there eventually. 😊

I’m not expecting to instantly find a best friend. I’d much rather let things happen naturally, get to know each other, and see where the friendship takes us.
