Lawson operating as Red Bull reserve driver

Has there been any kickback from LL coming in to be RBs reserve? The discussion is constant that the VCARB is a separate team and operate (relatively) independently. Now, Red Bull requires a replacement driver and can pull in at will a well experienced, regule F1 driver who has been on the grid all season, leaving VCARB to take a relatively cold Tsunoda.

No other team has that ability or opportunity, its only available to Red Bull operating and directing two teams. Surely there's some form of protest?
