Monsters on Farm?

There is one farm type that we are warned will have monsters coming out at night. Can anyone tell me if they’re just Slimes and Rock Monsters and the other kinds we find in the caves or if they’re some seriously uniquely bad monsters that make the farm really threatening to the health bar? I’m imagining the monsters I see in Skyrim and it freaks me out, LOL.
