General Admission Queuing Etiquette and Tips- Australia

Hi!! I just managed to get early entry tickets for Yves in Melbourne, and it’s my first time going to a concert where it’s all standing.

I’m going with 3 others and we wanted to try and queue as early as possible, but it’s a bit hard…

my question is:

While we are queueing, is it okay for one/two of us at a time to leave the queue and come back to where we were if the rest of my friends stay?

I also appreciate any tips for queuing !!
