Please help! My tablet went into DEX mode and won't go out of it!

First gemini popups came on my screen for some reason, and no matter what i did they wouldn't go away. In my effort to try to close these gemini notifications, my Samsung galaxy tab randomly went into dex mode.

Now I can't get out of it.

None of the tutorials are working.

• There is nowhere in settings to turn it off.
• Clicking the little square with dots does not show me any option to "exit dex".
• I tried to turn on the dex button in quick panel, but then something aweful happened: a window showed up that said "starting dex", and to connect a device, but there is no way to close it!!

I've never been stressed and angry from technology, please someone help before I go insane! It's been 30 minutes of me trying to get out of it. I have some important work on it and I don't want to lose it.
