Am I pursuing the wrong career?

I'm 18 and I'm studying mechanical engineering, recently got a job at an Italian place after working another food service job as a cashier. I really enjoy school and love the education I'm getting but I could never imagine myself sitting in an office on a computer all day.

I've been working at this place for a few weeks now and they have me doing prep, cleaning, serving, and I'm having so much fun. Being on my feet all day and always having something to do with my hands makes my hyperactive ADHD brain very happy and the time goes by so fast that I don't even notice that I'm going over my scheduled hours. I get home at like 10 PM and all I can think about is how much I wanna do it again.

I can see myself doing this more than I can see myself being an engineer in the future. Is this feeling gonna go away when I'm older? It hasn't been long but I feel like I found something that clicks with me.

EDIT: I never meant that I'm planning to drop out!! I'M GETTING THIS DEGREE!!! 😭😭😭😭 Talking about post grad plans
