Does life get better or worse after 18?

I’m 16. It’s gotten better compared to 7-15 horribly abusive household and now I’m living with mum which is much better. But I still feel lonely a lot especially since it feels like she doesn’t really support my dreams much and just wants me to stay with her forever!

But it was extremely bad from 7-15 honestly like torture so much abuse, bad friendships, family court, therapy, depression.

I still hate my hometown though and my over an hour commute for school. So I still wouldn’t say it’s that amazing! But it’s better. I always thought after 18 would be better but now I’m stressed it will be worse will it?
