Pharmacy Manager Massively Cut my Hours in SEPTEMBER

I start university in September and I was clear about my schedule changes from the get go upon hire, so it was cleared, but it was not the Pharmacy Manager who hired me.

I put in my adjustment times in the app weeks ago, but they were never reviewed or approved. So I verbally told my Pharmacy Manager about it (to which she chided me for not checking in sooner, despite being scheduled week by week previously, and already putting in the new hours for approval).

Well upper management forgot to make a schedule and since I’m a DH the randomly generated schedule had me up front despite them wanting to prioritize my training in the Pharmacy full time, so when this was corrected, my hours were massively cut.

My coworkers were stressing and discussing being understaffed. I said I’d leave a note for the Pharmacy manager that I’d be happy to work the days I was cut, and further clarified on my availability and preferred hours (20-25 a week).

She put me in six hours. In September.

She never really seemed to like me or want to acknowledge me much, but I’m at a loss.

I wasn’t told anything about how far ahead we scheduled, maybe that’s on me, but I need more hours and I’m surprised I was scheduled like this.

It’s been a month and I’m at a loss. I love all my coworkers, but the Pharmacy Manager seems to not be a fan.

Did I fuck up? I need the hours desperately and I’m in a panic.
