Smart clap backs to general contractors

Im an electrical contractor and one thing i noticed thats important when building a relationship with GCs is being able to talk back a bit, for example. Once i was walking a job site with a GC and he was pointing stuff that he wanted added and making a lot of changes to which I responded that we’ll have a change order written up and sent to him, he began asking “are you really going to charge me for that?!” “Well yea, whatchu think this a charity or something?” ussually the GCs find it funny laugh and walk off.

So i was just asking if anyone else has heard or remembered funny quick jabs to throw at a GC whenever they try to push something
