Biological Horror Pet - I Think I Messed Up

I primarily play on PS5. I bought the game on PC so I could play the old expeditions (I had only done the last two). (Side note: Didn't realize my computer is terrible. So laggy.)

I got the biological horror companion egg, and I wanted to see if I could dupe it in the portable refiner. It did, but big mistake. None of the eggs properly hatched a companion.

I can't claim another one from the Anomaly.

Am I screwed? Is it even worth it anyway?
