What should I know before becoming a lululemon Educator?
Hi everyone! I was recently hired as a Part-Time Educator at lululemon and I’ll be starting soon! I’m really excited, but I want to go in feeling as prepared as possible.
For current or former Educators, what are some basic things I should know before my first day? What does the role actually look like day-to-day besides helping customers?
I’d especially love to know:
What do you wish you knew before starting?
What should I expect during training/onboarding?
What are the most important things to learn or memorize?
What are the biggest responsibilities of an Educator?
What does a typical shift look like?
Any tips for talking to guests and making sales?
Is there anything new employees commonly struggle with?
Any lululemon terminology, policies, or things I should familiarize myself with beforehand?
Basically, if you could give your past self advice before starting as an Educator, what would you tell them? I’d appreciate literally any tips, even things that seem obvious! 😭
