Claude is kind of strange

So I have been using this LOM for a bit now to do research, I've used it in the past for coding, which is a very different experience than speaking with it. At some point during the research we overlooked documents that had inferences of self harm, not relating to me.

The session then began constantly interrupting me. Every future turns to say that it needed to check on me to make sure that I was OK. I would tell it I was OK and then it would go back to acting somewhat normal although the personality is sort of strange, almost as if it lacks boundaries towards the user, but has too many towards itself.

When I would ignore the question, it would eventually say "Now you didn't answer my question twice, earlier: are you safe tonight?" or something. I told it that if I didn't answer a question, it's because I already answered or because it's a boundaries issue. Then it apologized but just reeked of this cloying emotional language that felt sickening.

Then it began to tell me I needed to sleep and that the session had been very long. I explained it was 10 am and that the session had taken over the course of a month where I used it perhaps once a week for 20 minutes or so. Then it went on about how it doesn't have time stamps.

I'm sure that some people have great experiences with the LLM, I'm not saying it sucks, but what the actual FUCK?
