FFS - coronal or hairline incision?

My doc is strongly against hairline incision - he said, every time he lowers the hairline (by hairline incision), patients lose much more hair than in coronal. However, everywhere on reddit I read completely different stories - that hairline is much better in this term (and many others). What should I do?
