How do I cruise or find hookups in hotels?

Im on Holiday in a couple of days at a hotel connected to the beach. I’ve been having fun with the idea of finding random hookups but don’t really know how to go about it.
One idea I’ve had was to go to the beach at night and just have fun there alone and hope someone with the same idea finds me to initiate smth.
Anyone have any experience with this and could give me some advice on how I should go about doing this?
