would it be considered inappropriate to invite a former professor to an art festival i’m in?

hi guys! i’d say my greatest talent is overthinking, so here it goes:
i go to a big university as a fine arts major, however my program is very very small, like 50 people are in it. as a result of very small class sizes, i’d say we end up closer with our professors than students in other majors. there is one particular professor who i had for 2 classes last year that i built a great relationship with, she sparked a lot of self confidence in my abilities that i’m really grateful for. she took a different job at the end of the spring but gave students her email if we’re in need of art opportunity advice. i was accepted to be a chalk muralist at a festival in my college town which is a huge deal to me since it’s my first bigger art opportunity. would it be inappropriate or weird to send her an email asking if she’d be interested in going? i of course understand that she may say no and wouldn’t be upset at all, i just didn’t want to seem like a weirdo for asking
