Does anyone's chickens start acting up and looking ill before a molt?

Health Question

One of my oldest hens has been dropping feathers, so molting season is coming up quick. but one of my younger hens has been acting lethargic for the past 2 days.

She (Daisy) is a little over 2 years old and is a Blue Ameraucana, normally she is very spirited, will follow me everywhere and wants to be all up in my business all the time and will make a fuss over it if I'm not giving her the type of attention she wants. She normally doesn't stay put when I'm around and will run to me on sight, but I've been having to coax her to to come to me because she just wants to sit.
She's been walking around very slow, puffed up a little with a drooped tail.
She's eating and drinking, but not as much as she should be.

I did look her over. Vent is clean, belly doesn't feel swollen, red in the comb, no sign of mites, minor bumble on her feet but all of my chickens have and get treated for it. I believe she was still laying earlier in the week.
Only odd thing is that her crop is pretty empty by the time i come home from work around 2-3PM

Is this normal pre-molt behavior? She hasn't started dropping any feathers yet, last years molt she had was well into later September and October.
