YouTube Browser on iOS no longer allowing double tap skip?

Just a day or two ago my YouTube in my browser suddenly changed and doesn’t allow me to skip ahead 10 secs anymore, it instead just pauses the video now… is this a recent change or a bug anyone else is experiencing? Apparently it occurred five months ago, but reverted, so I hope that’s the case here too but felt I had to ask if this affected anyone else?
