Any thoughts on these proposals for HVAC replacement?
Deciding between 3 choices to replace our existing HVAC system that has been a disaster (installed in 2017) - crazy amounts of condensation on the unit, unable to control humidity, and constantly breaking down. Any thoughts on these systems/proposals? Seems like modulating is required for a zoned system, but we have no prior experience with heat pumps. Some companies tell us 3 ton is sufficient for our house, while others think we should get a 5 ton to cope with 90F+ temp days and it will just modulate down as needed when temps are lower.
