Bitcoin is near $73.8K and slightly positive on the 24h read. A softer USDX, slightly lower yields, and lower volatility offer some support, although equities moved lower.

Bitcoin is about $1.9K above this morning’s Daily Pulse checklist. The headline mix includes Bitcoin moving above its 200-day moving average, a CFTC commitment to pursue crypto regulation even if the CLARITY Act fails, and a public dispute over prediction-market oversight.

The key tension:

Bitcoin’s technical momentum and rising dominance are constructive, but the weaker equity session keeps the broader risk backdrop from becoming a clean all-clear.

Market check:

• BTC: $73,756 (24h: 6.20%)

• BTC dominance: 58.9%

• USDX: 25.53 (-0.11%)

• US 10Y: 4.71% (-1 bps)

• SPY: 762.60 (-0.84%)

• VIX: 14.89 (-6.00%)

Scenario watch:

🟢 Bull case: Bitcoin holds above its 200-day moving average as lower volatility and a softer USDX keep the market’s constructive signals in focus.

⚪ Base case: Bitcoin stays near $73.8K while participants weigh the technical break against weaker equities and active regulatory headlines.

🔴 Bear case: The equity decline becomes the stronger near-term signal and Bitcoin’s move above the 200-day average loses follow-through.

Into the next cycle, we’re watching:

• Asia/Tokyo: Whether Bitcoin can maintain its move above the 200-day moving average through early liquidity.

• London: Whether Kraken parent Payward’s full-bank exploration keeps the infrastructure-and-traditional-finance narrative in focus.

• New York: Whether CFTC crypto-regulation and prediction-market oversight discussions gain traction alongside the broader equity response.

Clean read for now:

Bitcoin’s market structure looks more constructive, but weaker equities and active policy questions still warrant a measured read.
