Something strange happened when ripping Project Hail Mary 4K UHD

I probably got about halfway through the first "title" on the disc, which I think was around 80gb to 90gb... when it errored out and all progress was lost. And now, strangely, my drive doesn't even recognize the disc when it's in the drive. I'm fairly new to all of this and would appreciate help. Most of my movies/shows have ripped with zero issue so I don't really know where to begin with troubleshooting this.
