2005 Accord V6 Lower Control Arms: Delphi vs. Mevotech Supreme for OEM ride?
I’m replacing the front lower control arms on my 2005 Honda Accord 3.0L V6 daily driver and I’m deciding between:
Delphi TC2427 / TC2428
Mevotech Supreme CMS20406 / CMS20407
My main priority is keeping the car smooth, quiet and close to the original Honda ride, especially highway ride quality and isolation over bumps. I’m not looking for a stiffer or sportier suspension feel.
Both appear to use rubber bushings and are marketed as OE-style replacements. Has anyone actually used either of these specific arms on a 2003–2007 Accord, particularly a V6?
I’m especially interested in:
- ride comfort / NVH compared with OEM
- bushing durability
- fitment
- whether either changed steering/ride firmness noticeably
If you’ve personally used Delphi or Mevotech Supreme on a 7th-gen Accord, which would you choose?
Thanks!
