Regalia Disappearing?

I'm playing Pharaoh Dynasties Brand new; got the game a week ago. Played Hanigalbat for my first run, and now Assyria. On turn 3, my regalia (Thunderbolt of Ninurta) seems to have disappeared. I recall similar with a chariot I had in my last run. Why would this happen?
