acyclovir side effects

Hi all. I was dx with hsv-2 from a swab. Got sick chills and all 3 days after the ‘’experience’’ and developed multiple lesions after. I was started on acyclovir and it unfortunately has made me severely tired, lethargic, just out of it feeling. Went to the er and all tests were fine. They called me in valtrex to try instead. Is anyone else sensitive to acyclovir? 🥲 I’m 10 days into the initial OB and completely over it. Can’t believe this is my new life, and now not even sure my body can tolerate the meds.
