Kava recommendations for chronic nerve pain?

Hi everyone, and thank you for reading.

I am suffering with a very long winded journey of chronic nerve issues/pain because of scoliosis and a shoulder problem that sends pain radiating down my right arm. I’m currently in physical therapy and treating some of the wrist pain with injections, but a spine doctor recently prescribed me Pregabolin. It seems to me like pregabolin is kind of insidiously addictive and I’d really like to try to use something natural & mild instead - I’ve had some positive experiences with Kava, but the only type I’ve been able to find in NYC is very very mild.

Just looking for some recommendations for a Kava brand I can order from in bulk, and what specific type of kava would be good for the relaxing physical effects I’m looking for - hopefully nothing crazy crazy expensive.
