Lost in choice - Wrinkles, love soft, fabric

We are considering a couch and are having a hard time deciding on a fabric.

And now we are doubting all our choices after looking through the subreddit.

We have a cat, want a soft fabric, and originally wanted something in dark neutral (not warm or cool) gray. We were planning on all angled sides and a recliner, storage, and love soft fill.

We have been considering the brushed weave, but now warming up to the ultra velvet for the soft and standing a fighting chance against our cat.

Also reconsidering the angled sides and worried that the love soft will lose its structure and look wrinkly/deflated/sad.

Any advice on a fabric we haven’t considered.
