what are all these g_ accounts?

What’s with all these new accounts joining every Peloton ride I do over the last week or so? A dozen or more suddenly join, they all have the “first ride” tag, and the rider name is always g_ followed by a long string of random letters and digits. Just curious, does anyone know what this is all about?
