ima try this group just so I can clarify. so i don’t want to bash or talk crap about the guy who did her feet and I just want opinions and obviously I’ll take them with a grain of salt bc I just wanna see if other people notice what I am or if I’m just overthinking. So this guy has been my second farrier, the first was a girl and I had to switch bc I moved. Now this guy has been doing it and after this trim she is lame on basically all except one, these pics were 3 days after she got them but she was lame a few hours after she got them done but I haven’t messaged him about it because I’m not sure if it was the trim because to me they don’t look that bad but I do see that it’s not really even on both sides as in like one side of one of the hoofs is shorter or longer than the other? She is also a draft cross Perch/quarter horse. Ik people trim differently as well, he doesnt trim the sole or frog which it sounds like people do either or? I have been doing more research and it says that the hooves should be even across the whole thing as well so I’m just curious what others think. And yes I’ll be having a vet out. I also live in a dry climate. And again not trying to bash him or anything I just don’t wanna be annoying and bug him and I am aware I will prob get different answers and I will take them with a grain of salt
