Allow me to introduce my oldest, Touché a.k.a "Amarelo" 💛: 13 years young, senior by the calendar, but an absolute baby at heart.

As the oldest in our 5-cat household, you’d expect a dignified elder who offers wisdom, peaceful naps, and a calm presence. Instead, Touché is a total Stage 5 Clinger—a classic Velcro cat who is 100% glued to my side, has zero concept of personal space, and is deeply suspicious of the other four getting any affection.

He is also a loud chatterbox who meows non-stop to demand immediate attention, aggressive cuddles, or the instant opening of any fresh cardboard box—because if it fits, the king sits!

On top of that, he is a hardcore butt-pat addict. Not gentle little strokes, either—he wants full-on "tambor" drum solos on his back end, activating instant elevator butt while purring like a chainsaw!

That wild, open-mouthed face in the photo isn't a hiss; that is his signature high-energy grin while yelling at top volume for pats. That is the face of a little orange hurricane who just intercepted my lap, parked himself directly on top of my important paperwork, and meowed, "Excuse me, why are you looking at the other four when I am right here?!"

In Touché’s mind, the household hierarchy is very simple:

Touché: The eternal baby, the center of the universe, and the rightful owner of all cardboard boxes, desk space, cuddles, and heavy-handed spankings.

The Other 4 Cats (Maurice, Anakin, Charlotte, and Nina): Unnecessary background extras who are clearly stealing his spotlight.

If I attempt to pet another cat, my personal shadow will magically teleport across the room at top speed, vocalizing the whole way, squeeze himself directly under my hand, and demand his turn. If my lap is occupied, he sits on my keyboard; if I’m typing, he rests his chin on my wrist; if there’s an empty box nearby, he claims it immediately.

Thirteen years haven't slowed him down one bit—they've only refined his skills as a professional attention sponge. He may be the oldest, but he will forever a baby, firmly attached to my hip, loudly demanding his daily drum solos!

Meet Touché (13): The ultimate senior Velcro cat and self-proclaimed butt-pat addict!
