Regarding the Kross 2

Small question for long time owners of the Kross 2.

On the page, it says it has rubberized plastic. Can any owner testify to how it feels on the long run? I know for a fact that rubberized plastic degrades and goes sticky, I have a set of headphones with that material and it sucks. Has anyone started to feel softness on the plastic? Or is it the underside that has this texture?

Since you grip the side of the synth for the mod wheels, you would have to touch it a lot. Sorry if it sounds too paranoid, it's my first synth and it costs a lot for me.
