End Of Oak Street worst of the year
I’m blown away by how dumb this movie was. Same scene over and over again for 2 hours and no explanation of why any of it’s actually happening. It’s excessively brutal, not for kids - even though a whole family was at my showing like it was Toy Story. Also like zero dynamics- it hits a level of intensity and just stays there relentlessly the whole time. If the characters are crying for 90% of your movie, it loses effect.
It’s just incredible how good a good movie feels and how much a bad movie feels like a theft.
Even more incredible that this movie had good reviews. My review is: wtf
I checked in with some strangers in the lobby, the were also baffled by this film.
