What was the most spontaneous trip you’ve taken and how did it turn out?

I’m definitely a planner when it comes to trips. I absolutely love the planning process and making itineraries however recently, life happened and plans fell through. So I’m making a very last minute detour to Malaga, Spain. A few days ago, I had no clue about this region of Spain but I’m going to let it surprise me and not do much research. Have you ever taken a super spontaneous trip to somewhere you never intended? How did it turn out?
