Advice needed for workplace

So I was going to start working at this retail job, but I experienced so uncomfortable slander towards me. “If this is considered slander” It would be my 2nd time around working here. 1st time I was a manger for two years. (I was a part time manger)I left
because I started a new job and I was getting over time. Well I decided that I needed a part time gig. I applied, spoke with the dm and I was for sure to start at the store I use to work at. As I go in to pick up a form to bring to orientation, I was greeted kind of a ride remark, I asked for the form. I was told to come back and was called a dumbass because I use to work there and I should know better. I stayed calm. Didn’t say anything and came back the next day to pick up the form. As I picked up the form, I was told to come in the office and I was greeted again in an unprofessional manner. I was told by the SM that I never worked with, he simply told me that “I heard rumors about you,” he stated I would sleep in my car and smoke all day as a manger.. I was startled because I never in my wildest dream slept in my car while I was working there… I felt uncomfortable and told him that I am not going to work here because now my reputation is ruined. He said let’s start over and I kept saying now thank you politely. Well I wind up taking the form because I felt forced. I went home and had it in back of my mind that I wasn’t coming to work here. I stayed up till 2am and texted my dm as to what happened. Went to sleep. Woke up the next day from a text and got a simple text as to well I can put you at another store. I felt violated because the issue wasn’t taken seriously. So I called corporate. Got a call from him because the dm got the email. I took his call and it seemed as if I was the problem from his tone. He simply stated we will see what happens about me going to another store, but he didn’t know because I never went to the orientation. It just seems like the conversation didn’t go anywhere and again I felt disrespected. Well now I texted him several times and called him several times and I have been completely ignored. He got aggravated because I didn’t call him first before I called corporate. Now I’m calling him and I’m getting the gas lighting. I feel violated and it has put me in a depression mode because my image is just completely ruined. The name calling of “dumbass” is totally out of hand and it just seems it’s not a big deal. This is not even my main job and I didn’t even start yet? I didn’t even get a phone call of an apology or anything. What are my options? This is pure defamation and I will not be treated like this.
