We should update the wiki (or some more modern trans voice resources for your consideration)
Hi Y'all,
I'm not active here rn, but this is where I started my trans voice journey. Coming back I noticed that the sidebar wiki hasn't been edited in 6 years and many of the linked posts are even older than that. Trans voice is an active field and much of the advice from 6-10 years ago is pretty outdated. Many linked resources use confusing terminology or support methods which are no longer favored. I wonder if we could collect some more up to date voice training resources and update the sidebar wiki.
My contributions would be:
https://transvoice.party/
(Itself a trans-voice wiki with resources for masculinization and feminization and links to discord servers where more can be found.) (Most of the other resources I'd recommend are linked here)
https://buymeacoffee.com/alyssavt/posts and the associated discord (https://discord.gg/cSNPSBnud) (Another voice couch with posted resources on feminization and masculinization. Has a divergent pedagogy from the transvoice party discords who all seem to be in conversation with eachother to an extent. Favors voiceless exercises which most others seem to disapprove of.
I mostly know about the discord side of things but I'm sure there's a lot of useful stuff on Youtube and Reddit that should also be linked. If you know anything you should put it in the comments, cause I'd certainly love to see it :3
