31M it’s been a day. Could use a friend or at least a friendly distraction from life

Hey there, coming back to Reddit because I just need someone to talk to. Nothing serious, just miss having someone to turn to when you’re lonely.

I miss the days where you could just text a friend to hang out and you’d be together in like 10 minutes.

I miss the days where making friends was actually easy.

I miss just being able to chat with someone all day.

I love my life, but it can sure as hell be lonely.

Between a busy work and home schedule, I barely have time for what little hobbies I enjoy, then factor in whatever else life tosses in, and it all gets pretty lonely.

I like to run. I read sci-fi and fantasy books. I love playing open world games. I don’t watch much tv but like to watch movies if I can.
