How to create a community in Chennai?

I am interested to create a community of people who will hang out have fun with me and some of my friends.

I am interested in many things Video games, Badminton , Chess, Music, Movies, Anime etc and tend to live a very active lifestyle. And recently I decided to make a community in Chennai where I can actually hang out with people of similar interests cause honestly me and my friends are getting pretty bored.

Any of you who created communities before.

1. How hard it to create an ACTIVE community in Chennai

2. Is there niche communities in chennai already thriving?

( and yes i do have a reason to start my own community and not just join one )
