NOBODY LISTENS

Today I was minding my business receiving packages in sub same day when my PA approached me and said I needed to go to the front desk. Confused I went, thinking it was a working well only to find I had to be picked trained. Immediately I said “no.” About a year ago my Ship Dock manager said if there was a specific path we’d like to be crossed trained in we can mark it on our AtoZ app and it would be considered. Unfortunately I couldn’t because I was still a white badge so I didn’t have that option at the time. When I did get my blue badge I marked AFE and waited…..for months and got nothing. I became a PG for Transship and would run when the PA was out because of school. Then when Sub same day became its own department I transferred over and became a PG there. Not once was there a notice or did anyone approach me about cross training till today. I explained to the learning team that I had no interest in being in Pick and would prefer AFE and they said there’s nothing they can do and that since I’m not crossed trained in anything I have to. Later today I find out from my PA that I wasn’t even supposed to be trained today, but because two associates who were supposed to be trained came in late they went through the roster and grabbed random people. They never discussed it with my PA or my manager, and my ambo said I’d be in pick for 2 months and not 80 hrs?! Now I’m pissed, my PA is pissed and manager is pissed.
