Possible server idea

So, I might consider making a Harry Potter roleplay server, but I’d want to put my own spin on the usual Harry Potter setting rather than just recreate Hogwarts and follow the original story.

The idea would still keep the recognizable foundation of the Wizarding World with magic, witches and wizards, magical creatures, spells, potions, houses, magical politics, and everything else but the world itself would be expanded and changed to feel like its own universe.

Instead of having players simply follow Harry’s story or recreate events from the books, the RP would focus on original characters, original plots, and player-driven lore. Hogwarts could still exist, but there could also be entirely new magical schools, regions, organizations, magical communities, and places that aren’t explored much in canon.

I’d also want to expand the magic system and give players more freedom with things like magical specialties, unique magical abilities, family histories, magical creatures, careers, and potentially even forms of magic that aren’t commonly seen in the original series.

The setting could take place either in a different time period or in an alternate version of the Wizarding World, meaning canon characters and events wouldn’t necessarily have to exist

Basically, it would be Harry Potter-inspired rather than a strict Harry Potter recreation: taking the parts people love about the Wizarding World and building an entirely new RP experience around them.

Changes I'm thinking of is:

- Make the server SMP-RP like similar to Princess SMP

- Make it more college setting instead of previous 11+ age in Hogwarts (I want it to be 18+)
